I’m not going to write this for you because I don’t know the extent, direction or depth of your paper. But I would suggest that you do remember to proofread everything because to begin with a misspelling minimizes your position.
I am going to provide several links. My criteria for selecting them was that they discuss the numbers and significance of cataracts and hence the need for the surgery in the opening paragraphs. OR that they discuss the surgery and the reasons for it immediately.

The next is specific to cataract surgery as the leading surgery in the world and its success rate:

This one goes directly to the surgical procedure:
http://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions/cataract-surgery.htm
There are opening statements within each topic here:
http://www.nei.nih.gov/health/cataract/cataract_facts.asp
This one uses an economy of words:

The examples above are well written, concise, to the point. You can do this same kind of search because this is your research paper and you need to think about it. The links (and there are many more out there) are to help you focus on a direction and therefore an introduction.
You can go from the general to the specific. Your summary will explain how the examples in your opening and the body relate.
What do you think? Answer below!
