Cataracts Treatment

the vet gave me some “neo-poly-bac hydro” cream but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything. He also gave me some eye drops that appear to be doing a little bit but not much. My question is what else can i do about this ? He doesn’t think it’s that big a deal but it clogs his eyes up so bad ,he can’t even see. I have to take a q-tip and scoop it out once in a while. This problem just started out of the blue, I thought it was an infection. I know many will say, take him to another vet and I probably will, but I was curious if anyone else has seen this condition? To me it looks almost like cataracts once its full of that goo substance

last week i think i had an allergic reaction to something…i had hives all over and eventually my right eye swelled and got really itchy. then it turned red and it got worse ever since last week.
then i woke up today and i have 3 little white dots on the colored part of my eye. i tried looking it up online and somethings i found were cataracts and ulcers…which kinda scares me.
i wear contacts, but since i’ve been having this problem i’ve only been wearing my glasses. it only seems blurry when i have my contacts in…otherwise my vision is fine with just my glasses. since it’s the weekend, i can’t go to the doctor until monday…which i plan to do…but for now, do you think it’s something serious or just something that can be taken care of with eye drops or something?
and i’ve been using visine…but it hasn’t helped.

I can’t afford the eye drops or the surgery to remove the cataracts. Both conditions lead to blindness. I rec’d a disabled bus pass so why can’t I receive help from Social Security? I do work 37 hrs/wk.

Last night i fell asleep with my contacts on and this morning when i took them off to wear my glasses my left eye was irritated it was very red so i put some clear eye drops it was still bugging me a lot so i went to check my eye in the mirror and i looked closely and saw a small little white dot in my eye in the color part of my eye i thought it was like something that got in my eye so i tried removing it with my finger and it didn’t move then i realized its on my eye like a spot, I’m scared do i have cataracts? I have been wearing glasses since i was 13 im turning 17 this june, i’ve been wearing cotacts since i was 14 and a half, on july of 2007 i had my yearly eye exam and the doctor said i have astigmatism…..My uncle and both my grandmas have had cataract surgery, my dad has been wearing contacts and glasses for many many years now and hasn’t gotten cataracts so i dont know if it runs in the family or something…..please help!!!HELP!!! what do i do?
