Polarized glass does not inherently block UVA light, and possibly not UVB as well. Polarized glass works by blocking all light except that which shares a certain directional property. This translates to about a 80-95% reduction in total light, depending on the “narrowness” of the filter, but light of most colors, including ultraviolet, are all let through.
Plastic lenses actually absorb most UVA and UVB light, and most optical plastic is meant to do so. In addition, many glasses have plastic UV blocking coatings on them, but unless you asked when you bought your sunglasses, there is no sure way of knowing if this is the case.
