Cataracts Treatment

Question by lovnlife: So, im a young mother with a high needs child and i LOVE OBAMA?
Im 17 years old and i ahve a one year old daughter that was creatated by force, well, she ws born with a condition called Congenital cataracts than made her blind, because of my age and the fact that she had a prexsisting condition getting medical isuance i could pay for with a low income is nearly impossible. i had to put her on my parents. and im still struggleing to figure out what im going to do. Well, she had surgery and now wears contact lenses that cost 160 dollars for one of them and im struggleing, working to pay for them and going to school and being a mother. well..

So my mother is in navada working for the Obama compaign. and
i told her that if she at any chance gets to speak with him to him, tell him that i am a teenage mother struggleing to provide medical and health insurance for my daughter and that im counting on him. well, by chance, she did get a chance to speak to him. He was walking by all the people and she was in the front row. she reached out and took him by hand, he turn ahd shoke her hand and she said she told him what i said and how im counting on him and he said excatly this……

“Tell you daughter I am going to do everything I can to help your daughter provide health care for her daughter and she can count on me i promise.”

AND WHEN HE SAID IT MY MOTHER SAID HE LOOKED DIRECTLY INTO HER EYES AND SHE GOT GOOSE BUMPS BECAUSE OF HOW SERIOUS HE WAS.
she just told me…HOW COOL IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question by Thunder: My husky is going blind and needs cataract surgery but we can’t afford it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
My dog just turned one year old and we found out that he has juvenile / hereditary cataracts. The surgery would cost over $ 3000 and we can’t afford that right now. I have researched care credit as an option, but does anyone have any other suggestions? For a way to get the surgery done for a lower cost, or even for ways of raising money?
And please…no one comment about how we shouldn’t own a dog if we can’t afford it. When we bought him we were doing fine financially. And we are still doing ok, we just don’t have $ 3000 to drop right now.

And more specifics for those who were wondering..he is already blind in his left eye and will be blind in the right eye in a few months.

She is blind in both eyes due to cataracts, so even if the surgery is successful, will the cataracts comeback? and also what is the price for each eye

Question by SallyMay: What is another insurance Dad needs to apply for besides his Medicare?
My Dad has medicare so when I call the eye clinic places so that he can get some cataracts taken off then they say Medicare will not pay for the whole surgery. So what is another insurance that DAd can apply for that will not break him and at the same time it, the insurance, will cover the other part of his eye surgery.
