Yes, there are surgeries. Call around town to other vets and ask their prices. Also, you can contact your local shelter and ask them if they have any deals or know of any.

Question by Roger: My kitten has a mark on its left eye, almost looks like super tiny crater?
I took the kitten to the vet just 2 days previously for a checkup, and now that its eyes have opened fully I noticed there is a very very small little dot on its left eye, directly in the middle of its pupil. It looks like a tiny spoon scooped out a small bit of eye, small like a poppy seed. Could this be a cataract? I dont see any color change near it, just a strange little dent looking thing in the middle. The vet said nothing, maybe she didnt notice, or maybe this is normal? The cat seems to have fine vision, it explores all over the place without bumping into anything.

I noticed something that sounds exactly like this on my kitten’s eye and it went away. If you’re worried, call the vet and ask if she thinks its something to worry about.

Question by antelias: tilted IOL in left eye?
i had an IOL implanted after having cataract surgery i had the lense in my left eye put in at the age of 19. i am now 22 and my vision has gotten worse. a doctor in beirut checked me out and says my implanted lens has tilted or is out of place. can a second surgery repair this? or can i have a second lense implanted in my eye?
Best answer:
Answer by ?
A second lens can affect the eye side view, where you can observe the extrinsic muscles attached directly to the eyeball that allow movement of the eye. Tambiem may prejudice the straight four that are aligned with their points of origin, while the two obliques are inserted into the ocular surface at an angle.

Question by Jennifer L: I have a history of severe migraines, now I have blurred vision in my left eye that hasn’t gone away?
I’ve had chronic severe migraines for 10 years. Over the 10 year span the migraines have increased to 2-3 a week, the pain has increased and most of the time the headaches lasts for 2 or more days. Usually my head will be “sore” after really bad migraines and the least little thing I do can trigger another. Four years ago I had lasik eye surgery which corrected my vision tremendously. Over the past year I’ve noticed that my vision has suddenly changed. I also have blurred/fuzzy vision in my left eye. I’m 30 years old and I just had an eye exam by an optometrist who said I could possibly have a cataract forming in my left eye. I do not have a history of diabetes and this concerns me. My eyes hurt soooooo bad after my eye exam!!! My head throbbed, my eyes were sore, and I had a headache for 2 days after the exam. I was prescribed reading glasses (no correction in my left eye, but I have an astigmatism in my right eye that needed correction for me to read.) I’m concerned that there could be more going on. When I have really bad migraines I have a hard time saying things, I’ve noticed that my body will all of a sudden tense up and if I’m holding something I drop it. I will have body jerks several times and it is very scary. My boyfriend has noticed that when I’m talking, I will stop in the middle of what I’m saying, and I will start over again. I’m wondering if anyone else knows what this could be from? I’m so scared that it is something serious.
The last MRI I had was in 2000 which was negative. The reason I came here to ask was because I didn’t know if I was just over reacting. I do not have health insurance right now and I can’t afford to go to the doctor if there is a chance that I’m just over reacting. Any information is appreciated.

Have you ever had an MRI or CT scan of your brain? That could rule out some things…I’m not sure what it could be…Maybe something from the lasik surgery?
