Question by brahmam_ravuri: Where can I get phaco cataract modern surgery with multi focal IOL,Cristalens accommodating IOL in India?
I have been using glasses for myopia. Will there be no need of glasses after cataract surgery? What will be cost of the surgery with IOL in Aravind Eye Hospitals, Madurai & Narayana nethralaya, Bangalore?

According to the Crystalens website’s locator, there are currently no practices in India: http://hosted.where2getit.com/crystalens/pulldown.html

You could always contact Bausch and Lomb, the makers of Crystalens, and ask them about this.

Also, Crystalens is not the only accommodating IOL, there may be others available in India. See http://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions/accommodating-iols.htm

Go to Chennai. They do one of the best eye surgeries in Regional Institute of Ophthalmology and Government Ophthalmic Hospital in Chennai. Or you could also try the Apollo Hospital in Sarita Vihar. It is the largest healthcare provider in Asia and the third largest in the world.
