Cataracts Treatment

Question by Mimi: I’m having trouble with my eyesight?
I am 16 years old and this problem has been going on since I was about 12. My eyesight has been steadily worsening at a rapid rate. I went to the top eye specialist in the state, and all he said was that I’m legally blind and my corneas are clouded and he doesn’t know why. Otherwise, my eyes are very healthy.

I’m due for another appointment in March, but my problems are starting to get stranger. It seems that my eyes are not tracking movement. I can watch something move, but sometimes my eyes just don’t “follow” it, if that makes any sense. I also get this filmy sort of lens over my pupils every now and again and I know I don’t have cataracts.

But that’s not all. When I stand up after kneeling or sitting down, my eyes go out of focus and I kinda black out a little, then my vision re-adjusts.

These symptoms are seriously scaring me and I really would like some suggestions as to what could possibly be wrong.

Go to the Doctors and get a blood test and your BP measured, as it could relate to that. Are you eating a healthy balanced diet with lots of iron? If all goes well at the doctors, just explain your problems to your opticianist and they should hopefully have a conclusion as to what’s causing these problems. Good luck.

You know, everything was all cloudy and they could only see vague shapes but then after the surgery, everything became clear, colors could be seen and the beauty of a random universe beheld; this is similar to a person who lived their life in nonsense and delusion suddenly seeing the universe for what it really is, in other words, when a religious person becomes an atheist, right?

Is it a fairly safe procedure? Because I was thinking about getting it done.
