Cataracts Treatment

my cat’s just a few months old and last month we noticed his eyes were getting milky in colour.its cataract and the doc says he’ll go completely blind in a month.says we should put him to sleep.i can’t do that.he’s doing pretty ok for now.but what about later?he still climbs on the roof perfectly balanced unlike his sister who’s perfect everywhere but such a clutz.

Treatment is approximately $4,000 plus when all is said and done. She is only 5 and I’m overwhelmed right now by the cost of this treatment. Has anybody gone thru anything similar and what did you do? Thanks.

Something has been going on with my eyes for the last several months and I’m worried I may be developing cataracts.
My vision seems to be getting progressively dimmer, like I need more light to read or do other things. I see intense halos of light around things that emanate light. I have ghosting vision in one eye. My vision worsens when I read after short periods.I thought my eyes may be just dry at first but I’ve tried several brands of eye drops with no preservatives and none of them relieve my symptoms.
Anyone have experience with this?
I am only 20 years old by the way.
