Question by muggs: Should you see clear out of your new eye glasses?
I got an eye exam was told my distance has improved and close up was a bit weaker. I have had these eye glasses/bi Focal for around four years now figured time to replace them since nose piece kept needing repaired.
So! I put the new glasses on and can’t see clear enough to drive home. The Tech. told me I have to wear the new glasses for at least 10 days so my brain will get use to the new lens. Well it has been two months now and I have gone back to my old glasses. The eye doctor said if I can’t see clearly out of the new glasses that must be a sign that I have Cataracts come in and get my eyes dilated.
What do you make of this?

it can take up to 3 months to see the full affect of surgery. your dr has determined that your vision is as corrected as it will get so he prescribed you glasses. the surgery was not guaranteed to provide you will perfect vision.
the abrasion was not your surgeon’s fault it is quite common for the cornea to be scratched during surgery. i wouldn’t worry about that cuz it is now healed.
i don’t know where you live or how far you are willing to travel so i can’t recommend another dr. but be sure to get a second opinion if it would make you feel better.

Every day should be better, and if their vision deteriorates and your eyes more operational and more or less sore information, then you need to know your office doctor immediately. Make sure the drops as instructed! user
