Question by leo c: I need advice on how to deal with my situation even though it a really stressful one?
Hello everyone! I’m a male, and I’m running through or it’s more likely walk through a list of etcetera problems. Yeah, I have been deal with it for a while and I try to make the best out of it. I still stay at my parents house it’s not the most glamorize thing out there but it’s still home to me. Both of them are senior citizens in their late 60’s. Yeah I have to deal with a lot of bills even though there not mine there my father’s bills. Even though he still working and his retired he still gets paid personal checks from his boss I help him out the most but it leaves me dead broke most of the times. I don’t go out that much even though I don’t have a lot of money to spend; a lot of my own money goes towards my car fixing it over and over again even though I’m still paying on it spending large amounts. Even though I work as pizza delivery driver it does damage to my car. Because of the issues with my car it stop me from going school again just make me think am I able to back school soon? And at the same time I want to help my mother out but she not doing no better because she a diabetic taking all types pills and incline and the cost of it, because of that being a diabetic it made her have cataract in both eyes even though she had the surgery done a few months back it came back again something I didn’t want to here! Even though I have to deal with it there nothing fun about it, cause of the issue my girl friend of a few years want to movie in after she done with her last year of school this year and help me watch over here. Because of it she want to get married to me something I thought about but, it want work out because I do have the money to get a ring but, its only emergency money but I can tell she really wants to but I can’t man up to it. I really don’t have a lot to give her in return she doesn’t care about how much money I have how much the ring is or getting married by church or anything else like that? But if I do that then all have all my family going in a frenzy saying that I’m still young you’re not ready or you’re an dumb ass maybe I don’t know what they’re going to say to me. What should I do? I keep myself busy with reading, going to the gym or doing martial arts to stop my bad intentions but, all problems come with me even if try to not think about and the same time its make my body sick too it’s getting harder to get up the mornings. I’m, trying to be like my dad strong but I can’t leave up to his expectations.

Um, go for counseling and seek a psychologist. Um, I read the whole thing and it seems like you are ranting about your life. I am sorry that you have to go through paying bills, can’t afford a ring/church, etc. Your mom who is now diabetic. I am so sorry. That’s lots to think about. I know that you are struggling. I feel bad for ya. I can’t help much because I’m 14. If you have this type of problem you may want to ask for help. Good Luck and wish you all the best to you and your family. Peace♥

Btw, do another job. Take the city transit. That’s efficient. Oh yeah, I’m glad that you’re always there for your parents and that you take your time and effort to help them out. Still spend quality time with your gf too. ^_^

I am having constantly headache (portion between the eyes, not the sides of my head) my eyes are tired and sleepy, I wanted to close my eyes always, even how many hours of good night sleep, I still feel tired & headache. I consulted several ophthalmologists, the result is immature cataracts. after applying the prescription given to me for a new set of eye glasses & medicines, like Chloramphenicol + Sulfacetamide (Spersacet -C) eye drops & Dextran 70 (Tears Naturale) eye drops. The pain is still there. Can someone help? Thanks if you can.

I had an intraocular lens implanted on Dec. 3. Obviously, the first few days I saw lots of halos and light streaks. They slowly subsided but never went away. Actually, I believe they are getting worse, especially at night. Most lights have halos and even in moderate light, I see a kaleidoscope like effect that is perfectly circular when looking at lights.
I used my eye drops as directed and had my second follow-up two weeks ago and was told everything looks perfect. Upon asking WHY these disturbances seem to be getting worse, I was told the cataract was so bad (it was totally opaque), that my retina will need time to adjust. My major question is why are they getting WORSE? I emailed my PCP and he asked for them to check if a “film” or membrane is forming around the new lens. Wouldn’t they have been able to see that during my last visit? This is getting frustrating! Thanks.
