Question by aaron_goodman15: There is something wrong with my dog’s eye…?

pictures.
My dog is about age 14 and is a cocker spaniel.
Both of his eyes have turned a hazy gray color (i think it’s cataract).
But, today, around and on his right eye there was this meukas/puss looking stuff covering his eye, on the outside and inside, all over it.
I wiped it off.
Does anyone know what this might be?

Note I can not take him to a vet.
Nothing serious has happened to him, but he is getting old and can no longer hold his bladder in, can hardly jump, and has bad hearing, and runs into things every now and then =\.

Well of course best is to the vet but it could be dry eye or something more severe. at least keep it clean and warm compress until you can take to the vet

Question by tiffers1984: 61 year old. Is she Medicaid eligible?
We live in MS. She is obese, type 2 diabetes, has a handicapped parking permit because she is 50% disabled. She broke some bones in her legs from a fall a couple years ago and now she has problems walking. She’s been widowed for 15+ years and has never made more than $ 10 an hour with two kids. She’s had 3 eye surgeries for cataracts in the last year and will have to have 3 more that are already planned. She pays rent, groceries, car payment, utilities, medical bills and has no money after bills are paid. We can afford to support her financially and have her move in with family (which will relieve the money for living expenses) but she’d have to move which would mean she wouldn’t have a job. Insurance is the only thing stopping this from happening. She’s not on disability or SS payments. We’re filling out a Medicaid application but want to know what the chances are?
Or even medicare?

I believe this person would have to be on SSD in order to get medicare before she is 65 years old or SSI for medicaid

Question by tamdengonavon: My 5 month old chihuahua has been sick with parvo. She is still recovering..took her to the vet and gave her ?
3 shots, antibiotics and hi vite supplement. The day after her injections her left eye started getting cloudy and the next day her right eye was the same way. What could have changed her eyes from brown to grey? Looks like cataracts.

I really think you need to contact your Vet ASAP and find out what’s going on with your puppy.

Question by Blue Foots™: Spiritually Speaking, why would I become colorblind in one eye suddenly?
No glaucoma, no Cataracts, no M.S….

what could it be…
Nope. Brain scan was normal, so was retina scan, so was looking into the eye itself.
