Cataracts Treatment

I have healed well from my cataract surgeries which were done in May 2007.

1) When can I start to go for 20 minutes jogging after the surgery?

2) When can I go for swimming? (and can I swim without the swim goggles?)

3) How long will this good vision last, I mean could it last over the next 30 years or more (I am 34 yrs old now and have a 20/20 vision)

4) Can you explain the theory behind this implant lens that helped to improve the vision significantly?

About Lasik
1) Can I go for Lasik in the future if my vision slack (since I have cataract surgery before)

2) for normal people, will lasik help them to improve their vision to 20/20 and even better?

3) Is US$1700 expensive for lasik of both eyes?

My guy will be having cataract surgery, hopefully in the next 4-6 weeks or so. Can anyone share information with us as far as success, healing time, etc.? We would especially like to know how long after surgery he will be able to drive again. Any tips? Thanks!

how much does it cost to pay the medicare copayment this year? Finding the money for that is the problem.
