Question by sunshine: how long is recovery time after cataract surgery.?
had surgery done 2nd week of may 2009. i still have no vision can’t see noting not even light just black. HELP.

My dad got cataract surgery and he was back driving his car in about a week.
Sounds like you need to go back to see your dr.

    Usually patients have results within a few days if not sooner. You need to go back to your ophthalmologist right away. Something’s wrong.

    well recovery time is very very short. in fact by the time the dilating eye drops wore off you should have been seeing amazingly better than before the surgery.
    i had my cataract surgery on may 18th and the next day i could tell a difference in my vision.

    perhaps it was not the cataract causing your vision problems. maybe it is something else all together especially since even before cataract surgery you should not be completely blinded by the cataract. what have your drs said about this whole situation?
