2 Responses to “Can you still scuba dive after cataract surgery? Obviously not the day after but is it still ok later?”
  1. GrimJack says:

According to Divers Alert Network (DAN), you can probably dive after cataract surgery, depending on what kind of incisions the surgeon makes and how long your eye has had to heal after the surgery. You should ask your surgeon for specific details and to examine your eyes before doing any diving.

    yes
but not before your eyes have healed fully
get an estimate of the healgin time from your surgeon, then double it…
after that, get back into the water and enjoy being able to see so much better
    good luck and enjoy
