Cataract Surgery Question, Need to Know NOW if my Dad Needs Immediate Help.?

My Dad Had a Cataract Surgery About a week and a half – 2weeks ago. Hes Been Complaining about the eye annoying him for a week. Now His Eye looks extremely red and irritated. He knows he needs to go to the doctor. But Can he wait another day or Should he go Immediately Tonight? Help PLEASE.
