i was diagnosed with retinal detachment last jan 2007 on my right eye. underwent retinal attachment last feb 2007. but i noticed my vision is still blurry. my doctor found out that i do have to undergo cataract operation. is it ok for me to have the operation on my right eye again this december? even if its not a year when i had my retina attached? thanks

    the surgeon who is doing the op will be able to tell you as he is in full posession of your case history………..

    i had 3 retinal attachment surgeries the past year and i’m about to get a cataract operation later this year. so yes its safe. it just depends on what kind of attachment procedures you had, did you have a gas bubble or silicone bubble? one takes longer to recover than the other.

    yes, I did the exact same thing,. I know its painful, but 4 years later, the eye is perfect
