One Response to “How much approximately cataract surgery costs for someone with no insurance? And does it include IOL (lens)?”

Well it certainly depends on the surgeon. At our clinic, for patients without insurance we give a large discount to help the cost. But you are also required to pay the facility that the procedure is performed in, and you have to pay anesthesia.
I would call your local ophthalmology clinic and ask how much could a cash patient get surgery.
For just the surgeon portion, you could have surgery for $1000 per eye.

    I hope this helps.
