One Response to “Can i please have help, i need a definition for the word cataract, from ancient egypt?”
  1. Charlie says:

I just looked at Dictionary.com and found this definition.

    cat·a·ract (kāt’ə-rākt’) Pronunciation Key
    n.
    A large or high waterfall.
    A great downpour; a deluge.

The only other meaning for the word is a modern one meaning a cloudiness of the lens of the eye…so I believe the waterfall definition is the one you need for the sentence you are going to write.
